Tours - Cape Town

Cape Town is a magnificent place, rich in culture, innovation, creativity, history and diversity. Picturesque and peak rich it can boast 70 summits within the city limits, the focal point being majestic Table Mountain.

All of our guided trails in Cape Town take place in the expansive Table Mountain Nature Reserve which manages the natural treasures from Cape Point as it juts dramatically into the Atlantic ocean in the South right up to the heights of Table Mountain.

The views are exquisite & the biodiversity unmatched. The Cape Floristic Region is a World Heritage Site not only for the incredible natural beauty & extensive history but because of the 1000's of indigenous plants many of which are endemic to the park. Proteas & fynbos create a unique floral landscape found nowhere else while the ocean adds a vibrant energy to this special landscape.

ON TRAIL IN CAPE TOWN

The trails on Table Mountain are taxing, the easiest route up is Skeleton or Platteklip Gorge, but by no means are any of the them easy walks. 12 Apostles is an easier alternative, more of a traverse. You may consider hiking up and taking the cable car down or vice versa. Please note that the weather - wind, mist, rain storms - can move in with dramatic speed on Table mountain, in which case the cable car is no longer used and descent will be on foot. The walks at Cape Point are generally easier.
